Our resort located between 1323 and 1700 m above sea level is distinguished by its extent over the three mountain villages of Mijoux, Lélex and Chézery-Forens in the Valserine valley, three alpine ski areas: Lélex-Crozet, Mijoux- Faucille et Menthières and the exceptional Nordic area of Vattay - Valserine.
In winter, in addition to sliding activities, you can indulge in dog sledding or snowshoeing.
In summer, Mijoux-La Faucille is the starting point for beautiful hikes with more than 100 km of marked routes but also many other activities: tobogganing on rails, giant zip line, adventure course, walks, paragliding, classic mountain biking or electrically assisted, golf, and water sports in Divonne-les-Bains, tourist resort, where you will find a fine sandy beach by the lake and an Olympic swimming pool. You can also access the exceptional panorama of the Alps and Lake Geneva via the Mont-Rond telecombi.
The Col de la Faucille
The Col de la Faucille, where our hotel is located, classified for its picturesque character, connects the Valserine valley, at the height of the Mijoux valley on one side, and the plain of Lake Geneva on the other by a passage at 1340m above sea level.
Divonne les Bains
Nestling in the heart of the Pays de Gex and at the gates of Switzerland, the spa resort of Divonne-les-Bains has been renowned since the mid-19th century for its pure waters with beneficial properties.
Mijoux
Mijoux, 8 km from the hotel restaurant La Petite Chaumière, is a pleasant village decorated with 28 wall frescoes which illustrate ancient trades in the region.
